Overview
We are a private family in Winnipeg seeking a compassionate and reliable home support worker to join our home and provide dedicated support for our 90-year-old family member. He is a kind elderly gentleman living with gout, reduced hearing, dental challenges, and limited mobility. Your role will focus on daily personal care, light meal preparation, and companionship in a smoke-free, supportive environment.
This is a full-time, live-out position with flexible hours (30-35 hours/week) starting January, 2026. We offer $17.00/hour and a welcoming family atmosphere.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work site environment: Non-smoking
Work setting: Work in employer's home
Responsibilities Tasks:
Administer medications
Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
Feed or assist in feeding
Launder clothing and household linens
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Provide companionship

Shop for food and household supplies
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
